Mickey Du is the CEO of Brewbird, an SF Bay Area-based company reinventing single-serve coffee for 21st century businesses. Brewbird’s platform preserves the one touch convenience modern consumers and employees expect, and features 100% compostable pods filled with freshly roasted whole beans from top roasters. Brewbird’s proprietary machine freshly grinds and custom brews each cup to champion barista standards, and utilizes a smart connected system to streamline service and logistics. Brewbird is backed by Sequoia Capital and Maveron (established by Starbucks founder / CEO, Howard Schultz).
Mickey was previously an early-stage venture capitalist investing in consumer technology startups and began his career in M&A and Strategy at Diageo. Mickey received his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and his Bachelor’s in Economics, and Psychology from New York University, magna cum laude.
