Media Credentialing Policy

NAMA is excited to collaborate with media who play a vital role in amplifying the reach and impact of NAMA’s events. NAMA offers complimentary credentials to qualified media professionals, helping them cover events in a professional and engaging manner. Please review the credentialing guidelines and media policies before applying.

General Guidelines

Press credentials are reserved for the purpose of editorial coverage. To expedite registration, review the required credentials on this page.

  • Media credentials are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure applicants represent credible and relevant publications.
  • Complimentary trade press registrations are issued based on event size and content scope.
  • NAMA reserves the right to deny or revoke media credentials if necessary.

Who Qualifies?

NAMA welcomes applications from media professionals who:

  • Regularly create and share content relevant to the convenience services industry.
  • Have a significant following on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, or blogs, and regularly cover topics of interest.
  • Publishers who regularly write articles.
  • Non-editorial staff, such as publishers, sales representatives, and advertising personnel, should register through general registration.

How to Apply

Please send an email outlining media credentials to [email protected]. To complete the credentialing process, applicants may need to provide one or more of the following:

  • Traditional media:
    • A business card displaying their name, editorial title, and media outlet logo.
    • A copy of the publication’s masthead showing their editorial role.
    • A recent bylined article (published within the last year) relevant to the industry.
  • Freelancers: a letter of assignment or bylined articles from a recognized news organization for consideration.
  • Podcasters, bloggers and influencers:
    • Two articles or posts relevant to the industry.
    • Documentation from an external web analytics service (such as Google Analytics) showing unique visitors and/or listens/episode.

Media Policies

NAMA follows best practices to ensure responsible media coverage that protects both the integrity of the event and the privacy of our attendees. These guidelines help create an inclusive and respectful environment for all participants.

  • Recording and photographing for public consumption of any kind anywhere within NAMA events is allowed only for credentialed media and in public areas.
  • Media must introduce themselves to event attendees or exhibitors as a member of the press before requesting an interview or recording. Event attendees and exhibitors must explicitly approve any requests. Media must honor requests by event attendees or exhibitors to not record and/or photograph.
  • Video or audio recording of education sessions is prohibited.
  • NAMA does not share, rent, or distribute media registration information.
  • Credentialed media who violate the Media Policy will have their media privileges revoked.
